How to Get From the Planner Calendar to the Details

At PlanHappyAdverting, we’ve broken the planning process into two parts. First, is the big picture for when you know the general types of marketing you want to run and second, is the details when you’re ready to add the specifics for a particular marketing item. This helps take the anxiety out of the planning process because you don’t have to know everything from the start. 

Here are 3 ways to get to the Planner Details from the Calendar:



The Easiest Way

Click on any icon on the Calendar and you’ll be taken to the Planner Details for that particular marketing item.

The Next Easiest Way

If you have more than one of the same type of marketing planned on any date, you can click the ADD DETAILS link in the List View.

The Final Way

Click the DETAILS VIEW link at the top of the Calendar.

If you’ve chosen way this last way, you’ll also need to click on any highlighted date on the small calendar located in the upper right of the Planner Details to choose the marketing to which you want to add details.

Here’s how to add new marketing to the calendar from the Planner Details.


If you want to add marketing from the Planner Details without going back to the calendar, just click on any date on the small calendar on the right. Then, click on any icon for the type of new marketing you want to do.

When you go back to the Calendar, the icon for your new marketing will be there on the date you selected.

Below the icons, you’ll see a pulldown menu that includes all the marketing you’ve planned for that date. Select the one you want work with and begin adding the details
